Miranda
Bassilios, M.S., P.A.-C.
Miranda received her B.S. in Applied Biology from the
Georgia Institute of Technology, and E.M.T. training
at the Georgia Paramedic Training Center in Atlanta.
After working for a year as an E.M.T., she completed
her M.S. in Physician Assistant Practice from Finch
University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School.
She worked with Associated Internal Medicine and Sutter
East Bay Medical Group in Orinda from 2001-2006, providing
assessment and treatment of patients with multiple medical
problems for all adult age groups and cultures. Miranda
joined OB/GYN Partners for Health in March 2006. She
is married, has a young son, and enjoys traveling the
world with her family.

Ed
Blumenstock, M.D.
Dr. Blumenstock graduated from U.C. Berkeley and completed
medical school and residency at U.C. San Francisco.
He has a Master's in Public Health at U. North Carolina,
Chapel Hill which involved doing research in Czechoslovakia
and Israel. His interests include operative laparoscopy,
hysteroscopy (allowing major operations to be done in
a minimally invasive way) and urogynecology, which deals
with problems of pelvic support and incontinence. Beginning
in 1999, he began taking off 3 to 4 months a year to
travel and do volunteer work in developing countries.

Pat
Flores, N.P.
Pat was born and raised in Oakland and has been a nurse
and a nurse practitioner for more than thirty years.
She acquired her obgyn nurse practitioner's degree at
the University of Arizona and did her practical training
on the Navaho Indian reservation in Northern Arizona.
After leaving Arizona, she has worked in private obgyn
practices in both the suburbs and the inner city. As
a practitioner, one of her greatest sources of satisfaction
has been the continuity of care with patients whom she
has known from the time of their first pregnancy to
the onset of menopause. As a major part of her practice,
and having lived through menopause herself, she has
found this to be another fascinating aspect of women's
health. Pat lives in Alameda and has become involved
with the practice of yoga and the Alameda Peace Network.
She enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband and
teenage son.

Hon
Fong, M.D.
Dr. Fong received is B.S. in Chemistry from Purdue
University, and his Medical Degree from the Indiana
University School of Medicine. He did his residency
in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Bayfront Medical
Center, affiliate of the University of South Florida.
He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology,
and had a private practice in St. Petersburg, Florida
for 15 years. He began practicing in Oakland in 1992,
and is currently practicing gynecology in OB/GYN Partners
for Health Oakland office. He is fluent in Cantonese
and Mandarin.

Magdy
Girgis, M.D.
Dr. Girgis received his undergraduate degree and Medical
Degree from Ein Shams University in Cairo. He did an
internship at Herrick Hospital in Berkeley, followed
by a one- year surgical residency at Highland Hospital
in Oakland. He completed his residency in Obstetrics
and Gynecology at Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, and
is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He
has been in private practice in Oakland since 1975.
He is fluent in Arabic.

Lynne
Goldman, N.P.
Lynne received her B.A. from the University of California,
Berkeley. She completed a B.S. and a Master's Degree
in Nursing from the University of California, San Francisco.
She has worked as a Maternal-Child R.N. at Kaiser, Oakland,
and a Labor and Delivery R.N. at Alta Bates Summit Medical
Center in Berkeley. She has been working as a Women's
Health Nurse Practitioner at Kaiser in Pleasanton since
1989, and joined OB/GYN Partners for Health in February
2004.

Goldee
Gross, M.D.
Dr. Gross began her career at Peralta Hospital in Oakland
- by being born! She attended local schools in Oakland
and Lafayette, and graduated with honors in Liberal
Arts from Raymond College. She received an MS in counseling
in San Diego, and her M.D. from Washington University
School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her OB/GYN
residency at George Washington University in Washington,
D.C. and is Board Certified by the American Board of
Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Gross has been the Chairman
of the Department of OB/GYN at Summit Medical Center
in Oakland, and has been in private practice in Oakland
and Lafayette for 18 years. She is married with two
sons and a spoiled dog.

Lee Hambrick, M.D.
Dr. Hambrick was born and reared in Newnan, Ga. and
received his BS from Auburn University, his MD from
Medical College of Georgia, and completed his residency
at the University of South Florida School of Medicine.
He has been Board Certified and a Fellow of the American
College of OBGYN since 1984. He practiced in Houston,
Texas for five years before moving to Oakland in 1987.
He enjoys the full range of OBGYN from office visits
with long time patients to gyn surgery and delivering
babies. He is a long time resident of the Oakland hills
and enjoys entertaining friends, fine dining, classic
cars, and his two miniature schnauzers.

Isenberg, M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Isenberg received a Doctor of Philosophy and his
Medical Degree from the University the California, San
Francisco, where he then completed his residency in
Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. He
has worked as an Attending Physician in the Department
of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Summit Medical Center.
He is currently part of the implementation team at Sutter
Health to introduce Electronic Medical Records for hospital
patients system wide. Dr. Isenberg is Board Certified
in Obstetrics and Gynecology. He joined OB/GYN Partners
for Health in 1999. |

Nicole
Jeffrey-Starr, M.D.
Dr. Jeffrey-Starr received her M.A. from Tufts University
in Massachusetts, and her Masters of Public Health and
her M.D. from Columbia University in New York. She did
a four year residency in obstetrics and gynecology at
St. Lukes/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York prior
to joining OB/GYN Partners for Health in September 2004.
Dr. Jeffrey-Starr is married and has a young son. She
is fluent in French. |

Karen
Kashkin, M.D.
Dr. Kashkin graduated from UCSF Medical School and
is Board Certified. She recently completed 20 years
of obstetrical practice in Lafayette and Oakland, and
is currently doing gynecology part time in the Lafayette
office. She has two grown daughters.

Christine
K. Lee, M.D.
Dr. Lee graduated Magna cum laude with a B.A. from
Harvard University. She received her Medical Degree
from the New York University School of Medicine. She
completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at
the University of California, San Francisco. She is
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lee
is interested in all aspects of women’s health,
including obstetrics and advanced laparoscopy. She is
fluent in Spanish and Korean. She is also a mother.

Lonnie
Lin, M.D.
Dr. Lin received her B.A. from Bryn Mawr College in
Pennsylvania. She received her M.D. from the John A.
Burns School of Medicine at the University of Hawaii
at Manoa, Honolulu. She completed a four year residency
in obstetrics and gynecology at the Mountain Area Health
Education Center in Asheville, North Carlina. She worked
with Courtview OB/GYN in Gastonia, North Carolina for
three years prior to joining OB/GYN Partners for Health
in September 2007. Dr. Lin has been Board Certified
in Obstetrics and Gynecology since November 2005. She
speaks conversational Mandarin.

Elisabeth
Schleuning, M.D.
Dr. Schleuning is originally from the greater Boston
area. She graduated from MIT and the Pritzker School
of Medicine at the University of Chicago, and completed
her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University
of Iowa. She is Board Certified in OB/GYN and is a Fellow
of the American College of OB/GYN. She enjoys doing
low and high-risk obstetrics as well as office gynecology
and gynecologic surgery. When not working, she enjoys
running, skiing, kayaking, and hiking.
